Yesterday was crazy! We woke up at 5am to make it to the Richmond airport for our first flight, then a lay over in Charlotte, then to our final destination, St.Croix! We finally arrived, picked up our bags, and took the IPF Shuttle with other lifters and the judges to the Resort. Let me just say, the Resort looks beautiful, it has amazing private beaches and a giant pool. Once we finally made the 30 min shuttle trip we got our keys and settled into our room. I frantically wanted to go find where the warmup room was and also where the main platform was. After that, as a family we sat down for a small dinner. So far I’m very excited to compete and can’t wait! This morning I got my rack heights and I will be watching my weight throughout the day. I will be blogging and making plenty of YouTube videos to cover this event too!
