Memorial Day weekend is a time where most sit back, relax at the beach, and have a cook out. I actually did one of the cliché things to do and went to the Outer Banks with my family and my girlfriend. I’m so thankful that people stood up for what they believed in and sacrificed their lives for my freedom. To all of the members of the military who have died in current wars and in previous wars, I keep their memory living on throughout my life. Their ultimate sacrifice made this country possible and gave me the opportunity to live life and do what I love (which is lifting). Just take a step back and see how lucky you are, and be thankful for all those who gave up their lives for our freedom. God Bless America
